C‑1055 — Type 5 Laminated Integrator, Triple Indicators, 134°C – 3.5 min

SteriStar™ Type 5 Laminated Integrators are internal chemical indicators designed to help assess whether defined steam sterilisation parameters have been achieved within a pack. Used as part of a routine monitoring program, they support confidence that steam has penetrated the packaging and reached the contents.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Designed for internal pack monitoring in steam sterilisation workflows
  • Rapid, easy-to-interpret visual response to cycle conditions
  • Uses water-based, non-toxic indicator chemistry
  • Compatible with ISO 11140-1 (as referenced by manufacturer)
  • Self-adhesive versions may support traceability record-keeping (where applicable)

Intended Use: Internal monitoring of steam sterilisation packs in CSSD settings

C‑1601 — Type 6 Emulating Indicator, Single Big Dot, 134°C – 3.5 min

SteriStar™ Type 6 Emulating Indicators are cycle‑specific indicators used as part of steam sterilisation monitoring programs. They help identify potential process issues that can arise from variables such as packaging, loading practices, or steriliser operation, by providing a clear visual response when defined cycle parameters are met.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Cycle‑specific emulating indicator for steam sterilisation monitoring
  • Supports identification of potential process failures linked to packaging/loading/operation variation
  • Intended for use inside each sterilisation package to help confirm steam reaches pack contents
  • Uses water-based, non-toxic indicator chemistry
  • Compatible with ISO 11140-1 (as referenced by manufacturer)
  • Self-adhesive versions may support traceability record-keeping (where applicable)

Intended Use: Routine monitoring of steam sterilisation cycles within CSSD processes

BD‑8 — Pink Card Bowie & Dick Test

The SteriStar™ Pink Card Bowie & Dick Test is designed for daily testing of pre‑vacuum steam sterilisers before processing loads. It supports detection of issues such as air leaks, inadequate steam penetration, and vacuum pump performance problems, helping teams confirm effective air removal and steam penetration.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Intended for daily use in an empty steriliser prior to processing loads
  • Helps detect air leaks, insufficient steam penetration, and vacuum-related failures
  • Easy-to-read visual indicator pattern
  • Uses water-based, non-toxic indicator chemistry
  • Manufacturer references compatibility with ISO 11140-1 and EN 867-5
  • Designed for use with an apparatus/holder to secure the card during the cycle (see BD‑8 HLD)

Intended Use: Daily Bowie & Dick testing of pre‑vacuum steam sterilisers in CSSD and healthcare settings

BD‑8 HLD — Holder for BD‑8 Pink Card

The SteriStar™ BD‑8 HLD Holder is an accessory designed to keep the BD‑8 Pink Card positioned securely during the Bowie & Dick cycle. By stabilising the test card during processing, it supports consistent placement and handling as part of daily pre‑vacuum steriliser testing routines.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Designed to hold and stabilise the BD‑8 Pink Card during the sterilisation cycle
  • Supports practical, repeatable use as part of daily Bowie & Dick testing
  • Accessory item listed by manufacturer for use with the BD‑8 Pink Card system
