OptiPro Solid Descaler is portion controlled to offer a safer way to descale your automated washers.
OptiPro Solid Descaler is formulated to dissolve and remove a variety of residues and stains from washer disinfectors including: lime, scale, uric salts, iron stains, alkaline detergent residues, and other mineral deposits.
OptiPro Solid Descaler is easy to use and store, helping to eliminate cost, safety and space issues of storing and using liquid descalers. The unit dose allows consistent results and avoids product misuse and waste by providing the same amount of descaler every time.
OptiPro Solid Descaler is a highly effective periodic and routine descaler for use in batch washers, index washers, tunnel washers and trolley washers as a part of an automated process.
When used routinely OptiPro Solid Descaler helps to extend the life of your equipment.

Safety Information

Directions

Wear suitable PPE. Gloves.
Remove OptiPro Solid Descaler container cover.
Turn container upside down and place on a mesh basket at the bottom of the wash chamber.
Push on the bottom of the container to release product.
Remove the puck from the plastic container.

Instruments must NOT be included in the descale cycle. This is to descale the WD only.
De-scale Program Parameters are:
– No Pre-wash.
– Select a 2 or 3 level rack and place puck in a mesh basket on bottom level. Good water flow and mechanical action is essential.
– Wash temperature 65°C – 75°C
– Wash time 15 – 30 minutes.
– Descale cycle MUST be followed by three rinses.
