Directions For Use

Manual Cleaning:

  • For routine manual reprocessing of medical instruments dilute Asepti NeutraZyme into a sink of warm water between 30-45°C at 5 – 4 mL per litre.
  • For heavily soiled items and orthopaedic sets dilute at 5-10 mL per litre into warm water at 30-45°C.
  • Allow to soak for 10-30 minutes and then brush clean.

Ultrasonic Cleaning:

  • Dose Asepti NeutraZyme into ultrasonic baths at 1-4 mL per litre.
  • Set bath temperature to 30-55°C.

Batch and Index Washer Cleaning:

  • Dose Asepti NeutraZyme into washers at 1-4mL per litre.
  • Set bath temperature to 45-65°C.
  • Wash for 2-10 minutes.

Endoscope Pre-Cleaning and Cleaning:

  • Endoscope reprocessing procedures must follow manufacturer instructions and local guidelines (e.g. AS/NZS 5369:2023, GENCA).
  • Dilution: 5 mL per Litre. Contact time: minimum 2 minutes at 30-45°C.
  • Conduct pressure testing in accordance with manufacturer instructions before immersing scope in cleaning solution.
  • Prepare a fresh solution for each scope. Dilute Asepti NeutraZyme at 5 mL per litre of warm 30-45°C water.
  • Immerse the endoscope in Asepti NeutraZyme bath. Whilst immersed, brush all channels and exterior surfaces.
  • Fill and flush all channels with fresh Asepti NeutraZyme solution for a minimum 2 minute contact time.
  • Thoroughly rinse scope, channels and removable parts with water to remove all detergent residue prior to disinfection.
  • Discard all used solutions and materials.
